Get to know me tag!

Hello lovelies!

I’m staying back in KY this weekend, but my body and mind doesn’t seem to want to get down to work just yet ( you know sometimes, you just can’t get yourself to cooperate). I thought I’d be fun to do the ‘Get to know me tag’ to give myself a little break.

So here we go,

    1.  Are you named after anyone?

Yes I am actually, sort of, kind of? My dad wanted to name me something along the lines of Mira, but it was a really popular name around my age and he didn’t want to name me ‘Amirah’ cause he figured there would be many people with that sort of name. He was also really into Munirah and Maisarah (can you imagine me as a Munirah? Or a Maisarah? I cant!) Long story short, a week before I was born they crowned Miss Russia, Ilmira Bagautdinova as best dressed in Miss Universe. Ilmira is quite a popular name in Russia, Ive come to learned after -admittedly- Googling myself (everyone does it right ?!?!?! #keepitreal #noshame) I like to think I’m meant to be a model or something. Murni is just wordplay on Munirah. Quite pleased with the name my parents gave me

    2.     When was the last time you cried?

Last night actually. I was missing all my friends in the UK, and I’m quite the secret crybaby

   3.     Do you have kids?

        Nopesss.

    4.     If you were another person, would you be friends with yourself?

        I wanna say yes, but then again who would say no. Yeah, I’d like to be friends with Mirr.

    5.     Do you use sarcasm a lot?

       No, but I wouldn’t say I never use it either.

    6.     Will you ever bungee jump?

       Done it! I was at Sunway Lagoon with my family, cousins and everything, and I snuck off to do it without telling anyone hahahaha. Came back with a cert and they thought I was a little cray.

    7.     What’s your favourite cereal?

       UUUUU, I have two! I like that Nestle Golden Honey flakes, its like cornflakes but covered in some sweet golden honey thing. Lovely with fresh milk. And I love Fitness K’s Banana Nut Crunch, great with Vanilla Almond milk!

   8.     What’s the first thing you notice about people?

        Hm, tricky one. I guess like, either their smile, their voice or what their wearing.

   9.     What’s your eye color?

Really dark brown. I’d say black but scientist says eyes are never really just black so…..

   10.  Scary movie or happy endings?

      I love both! I guess, happy endings make it to my top movie lists, but I’d choose to watch a scary movie over a not scary movie if I wanna let off steam. I love jumpscares!

    11.  Favorite smells?

      I really like the smell of coconut. I have this candle that’s the scent of coconut and lime and its my favorite!!! It’s a really cheap one I found hidden in Typo though, RM 20 and I’m so sad that it was the only one L I also really like the way my boyfriend smells hahaha, and my friends Mire and Datin (Ersya Farzana) have distinct smells that I’ve grown to associate with love and comfort. Oh and peach! I loooovee the smell of peaches

     12.  Summer or winter?

       Hands down summer. I love sitting in the sun (even in Malaysia, yes) and hate getting cold.

    13.  Computer or television ?

Computer. Theres TV on computers now….

    14.  What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home?

      I’ve been to boarding schools? I think by travel time TKC in Seremban is further than  KY in Lembah Beringin. I lived a year in the UK, but I had a house and everything there so is it even counted?

   15.  Do you have any special talents?

I have a few weird things, that Im a littttle too embarrassed to admit over the Internet huhu. I guess I can talk relatively well in public, and I’m not afraid of picking up insects and stuff. My friends in KY and my family make me remove cockroaches/frogs/the like all the time and I just do it with my hands. With plastic if it might be dangerous.

    16.  Where were you born?

       Malaysia truly Asiaaaa

    17.  What are your hobbies?

I like, um, decorating and designing and stuff, but its not like you have a space to deco, a cake to ice or a dress to make all the time so its not really a hobby (a passion, maybe?) I really like to just sit down and talk, and also just laze in bed. Nothing too interesting really, except I guess, doing like extreme sports ish stuff. Oh and Candy Crush! I just got into Candy Crush and some people in KY call me candy crush girl now. Its really a compliment to me at this point.

   18.  Do you have any pets?

My parents hate the idea of fur in the house, but we have this black cat Midnight who we feed all the time and play with all the time and its always outside the house and Imran and I sneak him in sometimes. So yeah, my baby Midnight. He’s huge and smelly and I lovee him.

    19.  Favorite movie?

SOOO HARD TO PICK DON’T MAKE ME. My fav like okay, Ill choose 5 okay, Forrest Gump, A beautiful mind, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, The Imitation game and Id have to say Ola Bola. Ola Bola was an amazing movie, and Im so proud that Malaysia produced something like that. 

    20.  Do you have any siblings?

Yeahp, two younger ones, Ildina Murni and Imran Hakim aka IMMY / dettolsoap

    21.  What do you wanna be when you grow up?

Happy (cliché right?) But really. My ultimate goal is to have kids and with that I’d love to have a great relationship with my husband and an extended family that has dinner together once a week, and be working either in a hospital or in a zoo. If I get really lucky, I’d open a reading café that has a florist at the front, cause I love flowers and I’d like to be a florist one day too. My family would all help out, theres something for everyone to do and it’d give my parents some thing to do with their time too ya know! If they wanna. That’d be the dream.
